Description: Vicar's in Trouble (LA) DK B/, C, foaled March 31, 2011 (Into Mischief - Vibrant, by Vicar) became racing's newest millionaire with his sparkling victory in the 1 1/8 miles $400K Grade II Super Derby at Louisiana Downs September 6, 2014. Jockey Rosie Napravnik broke fast and let Ide Be Cool and Gold Appointment take the early lead. However, up the back stretch, Gold Appointment took back and Vicar's In Trouble went up to press Ide Be Cool into the far turn. Ide Be Cool threw in the towel at the 1/4 pole and Vicar's In Trouble opened up a commanding lead to win going away by 7 1/4 lengths. Declan's Fast Cat finished 2nd 3/4 lengths in front of Victory Nor Defeat in 3rd. Vicar's In Trouble has been in the money in 8 of his 9 starts, the lone exception was his last place finish in the Kentucky Derby where he was mauled by foes in the opening 16th mile. His record is 4-0-4 from those 9 starts and he has earned $1,128,900 for his owners Ken and Sarah Ramsey. Vicar's In Trouble was bred by Spendthrift Farm and his is being trained by Michael Maker.
