Description: Trinniberg (KY) DK B/, C, foaled March 16, 2009 ( Teuflesberg - Bella Dorato, by Goldminers Gold) sat just off the pace set by Sum of the Parts, moved up to take command turning for home and sprinted clear to win the $1.5 million Grade I Breeder's Cup 6 furlong Sprint November 3 2012 at Santa Anita Park. He was able to hold off a mild bid by The Lumber Guy with steady encouragement from jockey Willie Martinez, giving Martinez his first BC victory. The Lumber Guy gave chase in earnest but could not get closer than 3/4 lengths at the wire. It was another 2 1/4 lengths back to Smiling Tiger in third. A three year old, Trinniberg record now stands at 5 wins from 13 starts, with 4 seconds and earnings of just over $1.4 million. He was bred by J M Stables, Inc. and is owned by Sherry Parbhoo.
