He had everyone fooled except female jockey phenom, Rosie Napravnik, she knows he was loafing when he got the lead around the far turn, however, the rest of us, including track announcer Trevor Denman thought 'Shanghai Bobby is exhausted...'. As Rosie said in her post race interview when he gets a lead like that he tends to let his rivals catch up a bit, he thrives when he is challenged. When He's Had Enough caught him at the top of the lane, Shanghai Bobby 'knew' it was time to get going. With Rosie asking him to pick it up, he did and he never let up to the wire. He won by a head over He's Had Enough, it was another 2 1/4 lengths back to Capo Bastone in third. It was an amazing show that day, one we won't ever forget. This is one special horse.
