Description: Runhappy (KY) B , C, foaled March 4, 2012 (Super Saver - Bella Jolie, by Broken Vow) got the lead half way up the backstretch and never looked back in winning the $500K 7 furlong Grade I King's Bishop Stakes at Saratoga Race Course August 29, 2015. Jockey Edgar Prado broke Runhappy alertly from the outside post as Limousine Liberal gained the lead out of the chute and up the back stretch. However, Runhappy ran past that one and went on to score by 4 lengths. Holy Boss tried to get involved at the top of the stretch but could not make an impact finishing 2 lengths further back for the show. Runhappy is 4-0-0 from 5 starts and he has earned $331,300 for his owner James McIngvale. He was bred by Wayne, Gary, & Bryan Lyster and he is being trained by Maria Borell.
