Description: Rock Fall (KY) DK B/, C, foaled March 19, 2011 (Speightstown - Renda, by Medaglia d'Oro) get his 7 straight victory in the 6 furlong $400K Grade I Vosburgh Stakes at Belmont Park September 26, 2015. Jockey Javier Castellano sent Rock Fall out to chase Wildcat Red and Weekend Hideaway as they raced up the backstretch. As they rounded the far turn Rock Fall moved up along the outside to contend for the lead and Stallwalkin' Dude quickly joined him to his outside. There was four of them across the track as they spun out of the turn and Rock Fall and Stallwalkin' Dude went on with it as Wildcat Red and Weekend Hideaway gave way. Salutos Amigos was gaining quickly on the far outside in deep stretch but it was Rock Fall at the wire to win by neck. Stallwalkin' Dude had to settle for 3rd as Salutos Amigos surged late to take 2nd by a head. Rock Fall has put together 3 Graded events in a row having won the G1 AG Vanderbilt last out and the G2 True North prior to that. He is 7-0-0 from 8 starts and he has earned $749,180. Rock Fall was bred by SF Bloodstock and he is owned by Stonestreet Farms. Todd Pletcher is the trainer. The Vosburgh is a Breeders' Cup World Championships Challenge Series race and Rock Fall will get his entry fees paid for a start in the BC Sprint this October at Keeneland.
