Description: Ria Antonia (KY) B , F, foaled April 4, 2011 (Rockport Harbor - Beer Baroness, by Mr. Greeley) was bumped in deep stretch by the unofficial winner, She's A Tiger, of the the 1 1/16 miles $2 million Grade I Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Santa Anita Park November 2, 2013. The stewards ruled unanimously that the incident cost Ria Antonia the win and awarded her first place via disqualification of She's A Tiger. She's A Tiger was hard pressed from the 10 post to get the lead into the first turn and went sailing, clipping off quick fractions. It was no surprise she became a little tired down stretch and started to bear out in spite of jockey Gary Stevens repeated urgings with the right hand stick to maintain a straight course. After the bumping incident She's A Tiger did go on to register the win by a nose. Rosalind came flying toward the inside late to get 3rd, a 1/2 length further back. Ria Antonia was settled in mid pack and Javier Castellano got her going as they entered the far turn. She's A Tiger and Ria Antonia then locked horns within the furlong grounds and dueled it out to the wire. When the 'bump' did occur it appeared Ria Antonia was going to get by She's A Tiger for the win. Ria Antonia is 2 for 5 and has earned $1,156,140 for her owners Dunn, Christopher T. and Loooch Racing Stable, Inc. She was bred by Lynn B. Schiff. Ria Antonia is trained by Jeremiah Englehart.
