Description: March (KY) DK B/, C, foaled February 25, 2012 (Blame - Lifeinthefastlane, by Unbridled's Song) get his second Graded stakes in his young career with a victory in the 7 furlong $500K Grade II Woody Stephens Stakes at Belmont Park June 6, 2015. Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. placed March in a stalking position along the inside behind the pace set by Ready For Rye. Cinco Charlie was up close keeping the pressure on the front runner. As they came out of the turn and into the stretch Cinco Charlie went up to grab the lead and March was waiting for Ready For Rye to leave the rail open. When it did, March came on through and got after Cinco Charlie who seemed to be on his way to an easy win. However, March streaked through along the inside and got to the wire first by a nose. Ready For Rye held on to the show 5 1/2 lengths further back. March is now 3-1-0 from starts and with the lions share of the purse he pushed his earnings to $512,500.
