Description: Liam's Map (KY) GR/RO, C, foaled March 14, 2011 (Unbridled's Song - Miss Macy Sue, by Trippi) was covered up most of the journey, however, found a way to win the 8 furlong $1 million Grade I Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile at Keeneland October 30, 2015. Jockey Javier Castellano and Liam's Map found themselves chasing Bradester and Mr. Z into the Clubhouse Turn. Lea came along outside of Liam's Map keeping him along the rail. When Lea moved up to join the leaders as they ran up the back stretch Tapiture took his place to the outside of Liam's Map. Castellano saw daylight between the front runners around the 5/8's marker and tried to go up in between horses, however, that hole closed and Liam's Map had to take back. As they rounded the far turn Red Vine came along the rail leaving Liam's Map to race between horses behind the pace. Lea took command spinning out of the far turn and Liam's Map finally found running room at the top of the lane and was sent after Lea. He ran by Lea inside the 1/8th pole and went on to score by 2 1/2 lengths. Red Vine was 3 1/4 lengths in 4rd. Liam's Map is now 6-2-0 from 8 starts and he has earned $1,358,940 for his owners Teresa Viola Racing Stables and West Point Thoroughbreds.
