Description: Her Emmynency (KY) B , F, foaled April 8, 2012 (Successful Appeal - Chic Dancer, by Joyeux Danseur) climbs up the class ladder to grab her first Graded victory with a determined win in the 9 furlong $500 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup over the firm turf course at Keeneland October 10, 2015. Jockey Florent Geroux sent Her Emmynency out to press Mizz Money on the front end around the Clubhouse turn and up the back stretch. As they raced around the far turn Her Emmynency got the better of Mizz Money and headed for home. Miss Temple City found a sweet spot along the rail up the back stretch and moved up nicely around the far turn. She found a seam turning for home and made a run for Her Emmynency down the the stretch. Miss Temple City was surging late, however, Her Emmynency got the win by a head. Sentiero Italia was charging on the outside down the stretch to finish 2 3/4 lengths further back in 3rd. Her Emmynency is 4-2-0 from 7 starts and she has earned $540,250 for her owners Ike and Dawn Thrash. Trainer Michael Stidham said Her Emmynency came out of the race fine, however, they may give her a rest for the rest of the year. Her Emmynency was bred by S. D. Brilie, L.P.
