Description: Goldencents (KY) B , C, foaled March 7, 2010 (Into Mischief - Golden Works, by Banker's Gold) firmly placed himself on the Kentucky Derby points board with his victory in the 1 1/8 miles $750K Grade I Santa Anita Derby April 6 2013. Regular rider Kevin Krigger had Goldencents laying just off front runner Super Ninety Nine kept the pressure on until turning for home, burst to the front and was all out to beat a hard trying but never threatening Flashback by 1 1/4 lengths. It was 8 1/2 lengths further back to Super Ninety Nine in 3rd. Goldencents has now earned 129Kentucky Derby points and has earned $1,208,000 in non restricted earnings. He sits 3rd on the Derby Point Board behind Orb and Verrazano, both have 150 points. Goldencents is taking trainer Doug O'Neil and Team to Kentucky for the 2nd straight year. Last year Team O'Neil took I'll Have Another to Kentucky to win the Derby and then to Pimlico to win the Preakness for owner Paul Reddam. This year the owners of Goldencents are W. C.
