Description: Goldencents (KY) B , C, foaled March 7, 2010 (Into Mischief - Golden Works, by Banker's Gold)and jockey Rafael Bejarano set sail and never stopped as they went wire to wire to win the $1 Million Grade I Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile November 1, 2013 at Santa Anita Park. Track Announcer Trevor Denman was calling the race as if he fully expected some closers to come and get Goldencents after he set some blazing early fractions. However, Rafael Bejarano and Goldencents would not slow down and went on to win by 2 3/4 lengths over Golden Ticket. It was another 3 1/2 lengths further back to Brujo De Olleros in 3rd. Goldencents has had a spectacular career in his 3 short years. His only blemishes were in the Kentucky Derby (17th) and the Preakness (5th) and the San Felipe Stakes (4th). He has been to the post 12 times with a record of 5-4-0 while earning $1,990,000. Goldencents was bred by Rosecrest Farm & Karyn Pirrello and he is owned by partners W. C.
