Description: Go Maggie Go (KY) B , F, foaled April 24, 2013 (Ghostzapper - Magibel, by Tale of the Cat) jumps up from her first start, a victory in a MSW March 13th at GP to win the 8.5 furlong $250K Grade II Gulfstream Park Oaks at Gulfstream Park April 2, 2016. Jockey Luis Saez and Go Maggie Go went after the pace set by Paola Queen as they raced around the Clubhouse turn and up the backstretch. Go Maggie Go took the lead as they headed into the far turn. Off The Tracks came from off the pace to challenge Go Maggie Go midway around the far turn and into the stretch. Go Maggie Go went on with it as Off The Tracks couldn't keep up. Paola Queen raced along the rail to finish 2 1/2 lengths behind the winner and beat Off The Tracks by a 1/2 length for the place. Gomo was 5 1/2 lengths further back in fourth. The first four finishers received Kentucky Oaks Points on a scale of 100-40-20-10. Go Maggie Go is 2 for 2 and she has earned $175,900 for her owner/breeder Mike Tarp.
