Description: Flat Out (FL) B , H, foaled March 21, 2006 (Flatter - Cresta Lil, by Cresta Rider)and jockey Junior Alvarado sat chilly in mid pack on the outside and came running out of the turn and down the stretch to win the $500K ($750K with starter bonus) Grade I Cigar Mile Handicap at Aqueduct Race Track November 30, 2013. In the trouble filled race Junior kept Flat Out on the outside throughout and found clear sailing out of the turn. Private Zone was out front setting blazing fractions and was still there late as Flat Out finally got to him at the 1/16 marker and went on to win by 1 1/4 lengths. Private Zone held second while Verrazano was 2 lengths further back in 3rd. Flat Out has now won $3,645,383 in a glorious career which includes now 6 Graded victories.
