Jockey Javier Castellano sent Embellish The Lace from the bell and held off a closing charge by I'm A Chatterbox to win by 1 1/4 lengths. Curalina and Lovely Maria tried to get to the leader rounding the far turn; Embellish The Lace had too much in reserve today. Curalina did get the show, 3 1/2 lengths behind I'm A Chatterbox. Embellish The Lace wins her first stakes, she is 3-0-0 from 5 starts and she has earned $413,340 for here owners Alex & Jo Ann Lieblong.
