Description: Criterion (NZ) CH , H, foaled October 31, 2010 (Sebring (AUS) - Mica's Pride (AUS), by Bite the Bullet) wins the 2000 meters (about 1 1/4 miles) AUS $4million Group I Queen Elizabeth Stakes on the 'soft' turf course at Royal Randwick April 11, 2015. Jockey Craig Williams settled Criterion just off the pace set by Fiveandahalfstar and Aomen in the early stages of the race. At the top of the stretch Criterion ran on by Fiveandahalfstar to win by 2 1/2 lengths over Red Cadeaux. It was another 1 1/4 lengths back to Royal Descent in 3rd. The Queen Elizabeth is a Breeders' Cup World Championships Challenge Series race and Criterion gets an all expense paid trip to the Breeders' Cup Turf October 31st at Keeneland should his connections decide to nominate him by the October 19th deadline.
