Jockey Joel Rosario and Cathryn Sophia came out a bit tardy as the field broke from the gate, however, steadily improved her position as they raced up the backstretch. Island Saint and Ballet Diva set the pace, Rontos Lily tracked that pair and Cathryn Sophia got into contention along the inside as they rounded the far turn. Cathryn Sophia circled the leaders turning for home and drew away to win by 5 1/2 lengths. Island Saint stayed on for the place, 4 3/4 lengths in front of Ballet Diva. Cathryn Sophia undefeated in 3 starts has earned $212,760 for her owners at Cash Is King. She was bred by Robert Manfuso and she is being trained by John Servis.
