Description: Callback (KY) B , F, foaled April 12, 2012 (Street Sense - Quickest, by Forest Wildcat) move way up the Kentucky Oaks Points Leaderboard with a courageous win in the 8 furlong $300K Grade I Las Virgenes Stakes at Santa Anita Park January 31, 2015. Jockey Martin Garcia sent Callback out for the lead from the start and was pressured by Suva Harbor around the Clubhouse turn and up the back stretch. Callback got a breather around the far turn as Suva Harbor backed out of it, however, Light The City was coming to get her as they straightened for home. Callback held off Light The City to win by a 1/2 length. Achiever's Legacy was another 3 1/2 lengths further back for the show. Callback is now 2-1-0 from 4 starts and she has earned $245,450 for her owners at Spendthrift Farm. The Las Virgenes is a Kentucky Oaks Prep Season race and Callback earned 10 points for her win. She earned 4 points for her second place finish to Seduire in the G2 Santa Ynez January 3rd at Santa Anita.
