Jockey Rafael Bejarano got Angela Renee out of the gate and into the garden spot along the rail as the speed horses went out to set the pace. Sunday Sonnet was able to shake free from her nearest rivals, Manahatta and Morning Coffee, as they went around the far turn. Angela Renee then was sent to the outside and Conquest Eclipse came running after her. Sunday Sonnet gave way at the top of the stretch and Angela Renee bounded away. Conquest Eclipse gave chase but Angela Renee got the jump on that one and won by 1 1/2 lengths. Danette was 3 1/2 lengths further back in 3rd. Angela Renee earned 10 points toward a start in the 2015 Kentucky Oaks and gets a free entry into the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Saturday November 1.
